Even though I met Leland and got to know him while working together at Interpath, it will be the non-work related conversations that I had with Leland where we discussed our families and children that I will miss the most. As a father of a teenager, I often shared with Leland the latest challenges and sports updates and listened to updates about what his kids were doing and his stories of road trips following team sports while they were the age of our daughter as well as his trips to Moscow (ID), Alaska and his recent trip to Nevada with his family. It was very obvious he was a proud father and cherished his family. Leland was a good man and I feel lucky to have crossed paths with him.
