I am heartbroken. I've have known Ron since 1974 when we graduated together from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. It was during this school year we were roommates at Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael, CA. and have stayed in consistent contact over these many years. For his birthday in 1974, I was able to present Ron with his first really 'nice' guitar. This memory is very special. Ron's dedication to his profession was inspiring. His laugh, smile, and his friendship will stay with me. My spirit aches at the loss of my friend. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Valori and family - our hearts are heavy with grief and warm with fond memories of Ron. What an asset to the entire community. He was the happy troubadour of kindness, love, and positive energy. We are so sorry for your loss even more so given we are unable to attend the service on Wednesday due to family illness.

Valori and family -
I was stunned to hear of Ron's passing.  You both have been so kind and helpful to our families when Dad, and more recently Mom, passed away.  Praying for peace and comfort during this very difficult time.

We were saddened to learn of Ron’s passing.   Kathy believes there could not have been a better ‘first citizen’ partner.  You both always have had the community’s welfare in mind.  Thank you for choosing Pendleton in which to share your many talents.  We have always enjoyed time spent together.
We can not attend the service but will have you in our thoughts and hearts.
With love,  Phillip and Kathy

We met Ron and Valori at the worst time of our lives. We couldn’t have asked for more wonderful, caring, kind people to help us through it. Later, we were so happy to see them around town and listen to Ron play his guitar on Main Street.
This is a huge loss to everyone who knew him. 💔

Val & I were devastated to hear of Ron's passing!
Our hearts go out to you as you recoil from this loss.
Ron was a true blessing to us as we dealt with our own losses over the years. He had the perfect cross of professionalism, compassion and humor. He made everyone feel comfortable to be around both in the midst of dealing with a loss, and to just meet on the street or in the store.
We will be praying for your healing and for peace to settle around you in the future. And we will pray for joy to return!

Valori and Family,

It was with surprise and great sadness of heard of Ron's passing. What a gentle man and such a caring individual, not only to individuals experiencing personal grief but also to the people he came into contact with, no matter where they were in their walk through life. He will be tremendously missed!

I can't seem to find fitting words right now. I know my sorrow pales in comparison. The 3 of you were his light and saving grace. Sending all the love and prayers of comfort for you, your family, and your community. Ron was instrumental in my early career and a great mentor when I worked with him and my dad. Such fun memories on the coast... they are both gone now, but maybe directing everything together again :) Please let me know if you need anything that I may help with. My mom sends her love and condolences as well.
