Beverly Jean (Brock) Reeser

Beverly Reeser 89, died Sunday, July 30, 2023 at a local care facility.  A graveside service will be held  at 9:30a.m. on  Monday, August 7, 2023 at the Pilot Rock Cemetery.

Beverly Jean Krosting Reeser was born on November 4, 1933 to parents Orville and Jean Brock in The Dalles, Oregon.  She started school in Canby, Oregon and after moving to Pendleton graduated from Pendleton High School.

On July 3, 1953, she married LaVern (Chris) Krosting.  This marriage was blessed with two sons and two daughters.  Chris passed away in 1986.  In 1987 she married Ron Reeser, and they shared many happy years until his death in 2008.

Beverly worked at several places including Gordon’s Electric, the East Oregonian and lastly Pendleton Woolen Mills until her retirement.  Her Faith in God was always number 1 with her.  However, being a mother and grandmother was her joy.  She did not know a stranger and she loved making people feel special.  She loved to cook and made sure that no one left her home hungry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and her son David who died in 2005.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Nancy) Krosting; daughters, Lynnda (Randy) Eyre and Jana (Greg) Whitten; daughter-in-law, Karen Krosting; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
