Cheryl Bluhm Obituary

Cheryl Mae Bluhm – Elgin Or

April 18, 1956 to February 19, 2022

Cheryl passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday February 19, 2022 from lung cancer.  She was residing in Pendleton with her daughter Collette and Son-In- Law Amado for her cancer treatments.

She is survived by her children Richard Kelly Jr of Walla Walla, Collette Rosas (Amado Rosas Romero) of Pendleton, Eric Kelly (Shina Morris) of Bonner Ferry ID, Steven Kelly of Richland Wa, and Justin Kelly of Pendleton Or, Step son James Bluhm of Florida,  11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.  Brother Ron (Faye) Hodgen  of Milton Freewater Or.,  Sister Sally Hoskins of Athena Or, and Patricia (Craig) Carlson of Ellensburg Wa.  Many Aunts, Uncles, Neices, Nephews, and cousins whom she loved greatly.

She was preceded in death by her  husband’s  David Bluhm 2018, Richard Bashore 2012, both parents Forrest and Clara Hodgen, brothers LeRoy Hodgen, Raymond Hodgen, and Sister Jenni Hodgen.

The last few months while undergoing her cancer treatments she enjoyed many visits by her grandkids, great grandkids, children, and her brother Ron and Sister-in-Law Faye, sitting on the balcony watching the traffic go by and the chickens in the yard.

She has always loved living in the mountainous areas where she could watch the wildlife and enjoy growing grass and flowers in her spare time.  She loved humming birds and butterflies and the many dogs, horses, and cats that she had throughout the years.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date, when weather is better.
