Daniel Rocci Wicklander Sr.
Obituary
On Saturday, August 19, 2023, Daniel Rocci Wicklander Sr. passed peacefully in his home at the age of 76.
Dan was a lifelong Pendletonian born to George Wicklander and Katie DePinto Wicklander on August 24, 1946.
After graduating high school, he enlisted and was a proud member of the US Navy.
Upon returning home, he began his life’s work in the family trade as a heavy equipment operator and certified HAZMAT instructor for Operating Engineers Local 701.
Dan was passionate outdoorsman enjoying all things Eastern Oregon has to offer inc. hunting, fishing, boating, farming, The Pendleton Round-Up, small town living and small town people.
Most importantly, Dan was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his older brothers George and Francis Wicklander,
older sister Diane McCord, son Daniel Rocci Wicklander, Jr., daughters Erica Boyd and Stacey Caudill and his five grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by those who loved him for the rest of our days and may he rest in eternal peace.
