Elvis Lemarr Obituary

Elvis Lynna Wilde Nagel Lemarr, born on September 19, 1951, passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 73. She grew up in Wishram, WA and lived with her husband Stuart and their two daughters in The Dalles until moving to Pendleton in the late 1990’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.K. and Patricia Wilde, her sisters Tricia Wilde and Shannon Wilson, her daughter Kai Nagel, and her grandson Dean Crosgrove.

Elvis is survived by her daughter Amy Augustus of The Dalles; granddaughter Hailey Crosgrove of Gresham; grandson Joshua Augustus of The Dalles; her brother John Wilde and his wife Renee of Goldendale; her sister Dena Wolfe and her husband Bill of The Dalles; and her sister Katina Renner and her husband Dave of Everett: and her long time partner Ron Lemarr. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Elvis held many jobs, but it was in the 90’s when she found her true calling as a bartender. In April of 2000, she purchased Elvis’ Bar and Grill in Pendleton, where she became a well-known member of the community. Always the life of the party, Elvis had a warm and inviting presence that made everyone feel welcome. Though she worked hard, she always made time for a good conversation, a little laughter, and the occasional gossip session.

Over the years Elvis loved being a surrogate mom to her National Guard kids, most of them ate lunch at Elvis’ every day and even did their own dishes.   She made sure they all had a place to go for a giant Thanksgiving feast.  Their home away from home. When a group was deployed she would have an Elvis’ banner made and sent with them so they were reminded of home.

Elvis had a deep love for classic cars, owning many over the years, and she enjoyed attending car shows. She also enjoyed the company of her beloved miniature dachshunds, who brought her much joy and comfort.

A true social butterfly, Elvis had an incredible ability to connect with people. She couldn’t go anywhere without running into someone she knew, and she took great joy in catching up with friends, old and new. Her smile was contagious, and she always had a funny story to share.

Elvis’ legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of spending time with her. Her vibrant personality, and love for life touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered with fondness and affection by all who knew her.

A service for Elvis will be held Thursday March 27th at 11:00 at Pioneer Chapel in Pendleton.

She may be gone, but her memory will continue to bring smiles, laughter, and love to those who were fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, Elvis—you will be missed.
