Jeffrey Alan Duff
April 17, 1961 to January 26, 2024
Jeff passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2024 at his house in Pendleton, OR at the age of 62. He was born to Bill and Betty Duff on April 17, 1961 in Pendleton, OR. He spent his early years growing up on the Duff family ranch with his two older brothers Scott and Greg. There he learned the multiple skills that would drive his love for agriculture, 4H, FFA, and the outdoors. After graduating high school, he became an Oregon State FFA Officer and served for many years within the local Cattleman’s Association. He was an active volunteer throughout his entire life within both the Pendleton Roundup and Happy Canyon organizations.
He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. Family was a high priority to Jeff, he took care of his mother Betty in her senior years, traveled to performances of his son William, and took many a drive to Montana to visit his grandchildren. Jeff always took the time to teach his two children, Rebekah and William, the importance of animal husbandry and the agricultural industry. Also, the importance of the outdoors through hunting and fishing. While in Montana he also made sure to spoil his two grandchildren, Addison and Maddox, with trips to the local playgrounds, fun movie nights, and the latest Pendleton Roundup fashions.
Jeff had a passion for salmon fishing, bird hunting, and skeet shooting. You could find him many a weekend at the Pilot Rock Gun Club shooting clay pigeons or on the Columbia River fishing with many of his friends. Jeff loved to sit and visit with anyone, especially if dessert or a meal was involved.
He is survived by his older brother Greg (Brooks); his daughter Rebekah (Ben), his son William; his grandchildren Addsion and Maddox; and many other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Betty and his eldest brother Scott.
Jeff will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be a small private service for his immediate family. If you would like to leave a tribute to Jeff please visit https://www.pioneerchapel.com/obituary/Jeffrey-Duff.
