John passed away at home with his loving family around him.
He was born on the family farm in Concord Township Minnesota to Otto and Enda Kraling. John was one of 6 children.
He had three daughters with his first wife, when he married his second wife that he was with for 44 years he gained two stepsons.
In his 84 years he had worked at several different trade jobs. The two he most enjoyed were being the janitor and bus driver for the Helix School District and then later being a truck driver for PGG.
He enjoyed being a craftsman and working in his wood shop, he and Joyce would see something they liked, and thought would make good gifts. He would then figure out a design and build these items as gifts for family and friends. After he retired, he started repurposing pallets and wine barrels. He made wine rack, coolers, wishing wells, and even a porch swing or bench. John also got immense joy out of spending time watching his children and grandchildren participate in sporting events. He and Joyce would travel to watch the grandchildren play. They would also go on family camping trips.
John is survived by his wife Joyce, sisters Barb Albert and Charleen Louks, his three daughters, two stepsons, the children’s spouses, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
At John’s request there will be no service, in lieu of flowers please make donations to Paws of Pendleton via www.pendletonpaws.org\donation or you can drop off food or money at their location.
