She is remembered as a good cook as she passed on many delicious family recipes that we  will continue to use for generations to come.

She was happiest with family crowded around her dining table eating and playing games.

‘All people die, but not all people love.’

She lived her life with love and family.

Born In Dayton, Washington to Donovan Eugene Winnett and Maxine Joyce Davis Winnett. She joined her two brothers Eugene (Gene) and Gary followed by sisters Sandra (Aunt Sissy) and Cindy.

She spent most of her life in Pilot Rock, Oregon and graduated high school in 1959. She organized many class reunions and stayed in touch with classmates.

She married Richard (Dick) Lee Kirk and they had two daughters, Shamria Dawn in May of 1961 and Shawna Dee in December of 1962. She married Charles Gentles and they had Shellie Lynn who was born in June 1967.

She married Robert Lee Bopp and they ran the Pilot Rock Chevron service station, the PR sanitation service and landfill. After they sold the service station and sanitation service she worked as a clerk at Art’s Grocery then the Pilot Rock Grocery.

She was a long time member of Lauretta Beta Delta sorority. She was a longtime member of the Pilot Rock cemetery board.
