Karyl Jean Wahl

Karyl Jean Wahl, Kennewick, WA died September 10, 2025. At her request there will be no funeral service. A private burial will be held at Olney Cemetery.

Ms. Wahl was born to Henry L. and Eva L. (Gadwa) Wahl on January 31, 1944, in Marshfield OR. She and her family moved to Pendleton in 1947 where she attended Lincoln Grade School, Helen McCune Junior High and Pendleton High School graduating in 1962.

She then attended Eastern Oregon College and in 1963 married Lawrence D. Ball. They were divorced in 2003.

Ms. Wahl is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John W. Wahl. She is survived by her son John L. Ball, Kennewick, WA; daughter Susan M. Ball, Kennewick, WA; daughter Julie D. Ball, Bothell, WA; and granddaughter Haley J. Ball, Lynnwood WA.

Memorial donations may be made to the Umatilla County Historical Society, Pioneer Humane Society, Pasado’s Safe Haven in care of Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop.
