Marjorie Ann (Fletcher) Lapp

Marjorie “Marge” Ann Lapp of Pendleton was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Pendleton, Oregon, to Harry and Irene (Gies) Fletcher. Marge passed away at St. Anthony Hospital on Oct. 16, 2022, at the age of 85.

Marge grew up in Pendleton and graduated from Pendleton High School. After high school, she attended Pacific Lutheran University. Upon leaving college, Marge returned to Pendleton where she married Richard Lapp, they later divorced.

In 1973, Marge began her long career as a realtor. She truly enjoyed meeting new people and assisting them in finding the perfect home. In 2018, Marge was awarded the Umatilla County Board of Realtors Lifetime Achievement Award honoring her 45 years in real estate.

Marge is survived by her son, Mike (Kristi) Lapp; grandchildren, Nick (Amanda) Lapp, Kayla Lapp, Brooke (Ryan) Sanders; and one great-grandson. At her request, Marge’s ashes will be spread at the Oregon coast.
