Michael “Mike” Stephen Rash Sr., 64, passed away on November 25, 2022 in Pendleton, Oregon from an unexpected heart attack. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart touched so many people. Mike was CEO and Co-Founder of KGS BBS, an avid martial artist having secured the rank of Grandmaster. Awards include: Hall of Fame Induction- United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame (2014), Grandmaster – Issued by Sijo Sonny Gascon (2003), Hawaiian Martial Arts Hall of Fame – Hawaiian Martial Arts International Society (2003), and Hall of Fame Induction – World Head of Family Sokeship Council.
Mike is survived by his son, Michael Jr., daughter in-law, Catherine, and grandchildren Derek and Alexis; father Edwin, brother “Buzz”, sister Karen, and his niece and nephews; 2 dogs, Rockert and Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne, and brother Toby.
