Monica Anne Jones

Monica was born in Iowa City, Iowa as the first child of Roy Griswald Green and Mary Gertrude Green.  She would gain a sister and two brothers soon after the family moved to Salem, Oregon.  Monica was 17 when her mother passed away following a long illness.  That turn of events, shaped the lives of all 4 children.

Because of a good work ethic installed by her parents Monica held various jobs in her younger years never being without quality employment.  Landing a job with the Forest Service was her lucky break in life.  She loved all the various duties she performed there and made many lifelong friends with her co-workers.  Monica was very proud of the quality of work that she and her fellow employees produced.  She remained there until her retirement.

The one single constant in her life was her love of dogs.  Over the many years she always owned one or more at all times.  Most were a larger breed and each one was more spoiled and loved than the one before.
