Myah Grace Kellas of Pendleton, Oregon passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 13. She was born on Oct 25. 2010 at St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton Oregon.
From an early age Myah had a dynamic and caring personality. She loved everything and everyone. Myah was happiest when she was spending time with her friends, often going to Walmart, the movies or hanging out at the park. She went by Robbie with her friends at school and loved to call them nicknames, her favorite being “pookie”.
Myah loved all animals, her favorites being cats, dogs, and frogs. One of Myah’s favorite places was Paws Animal Shelter, volunteering there whenever possible. Myah was also very passionate about kindness, inclusion, diversity, and the ecosystem. These were all important to her because she was working on saving the world.
Myah had many interests including rocks, gems, crystals, fashion, clothing design, and makeup design. She would often spend time making bracelets for friends. She had the desire to work in one of these fields in the future.
Myah enjoyed music, concerts, singing, traveling, hanging out with her older sister, and dinners with family. She was able to attend many concerts, such as Depeche Mode, Korn, Evanescence, Everclear, Seether, POD, Bush, Matchbox 20 and Counting Crows.
She loved shopping and thrifting, especially at our local music store Unity Collectibles. Traveling was her favorite thing to do with her family. Myah Recently became a world traveler traveling to Scotland, Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. She also visited many states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, California, and Louisiana.
Myah is survived by her parents. Brendon and Nicole Kellas; a sister, Adriana Kellas; paternal grandparents Diana LaSarge and Greg Kellas; maternal grandparents Bruce and Myra Kauss as well as many aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 25th at 2 pm at the Vert Auditorium in Pendleton with a reception following in the Vert Club Room. 480 SW Dorion Ave, Pendleton, OR 97801 Additionally there will be a graveside service Tuesday May 28th at 5 pm at Skyview Memorial Park in Pendleton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that those desiring to do so make donations to Pendleton Pioneer Chapel to offset the funeral costs, make a donation to Pendleton Animal Welfare Shelter or Cason's Place in Pendleton, Oregon.
