Nancy Ann Nash 1951-2025
Nancy Ann Nash, beloved mother to two children, Angie and Wesley Nash, age 73 of Pendleton, Oregon, passed away peacefully in her home on March 26th, surrounded by her beloved dog Princess and her children.
Nancy was born in Heppner, Oregon, Sept 30th 1951 to Roger A. and Iris J. Campbell. She was the eldest of three children. Sister, Debbie Russell, and brother, David Campbell, were her best friends growing up and having adventures on Social Ridge in Lexington, Oregon. Nancy went to school in Heppner, Oregon and graduated in 1969. She then went on to attend and graduate from beauty school in Pendleton, Oregon. Nancy met and fell in love with her husband, LeRoy G. Nash, and they were married on Jan 25, 1972 amongst family and friends. They would go on to live, work, and raise children in Pendleton until her husband's passing in 1997.
Nancy was a strong example of perseverance to her family. After the passing of her husband, she would go on to attend BMCC for accounting. She then started and operated her own house cleaning business that she would go on to run for twenty plus years. She was beloved by her clients and spent countless hours helping and caring for members of her community through her business.
Nancy loved plants and gardening. She was an incredible cook and found so much joy in feeding others. She was happiest when her house was full of loved ones. She was an avid reader and her love of books was contagious. She was truly one of the best friends you could ever call your own. But all of that could never be compared to her love for her family. She helped raise her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and countless other children in her lifetime. She became a source of love and understanding for many generations. Her kindness knew no bounds. She opened her home to many as well as her heart. Above all, she was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She left a big void that her family will never be able to fill.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Roger and Iris Campbell, her husband LeRoy Nash and her sister Debbie Campbell Russell. She left behind her daughter Angie Nash of Pendleton, OR, her son Wesley Nash of La Grande, OR, her brother David Campbell of Heppner OR, and her grandchildren Elizabeth and Evan Evans of Pendleton, OR. As well as her great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life at Hamley's Slickfork Saloon on April 12th at 1pm. All are welcome to come and celebrate her unwavering kindness.
