Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend to many, Patsy Carol Cratty passed away on February 8th, 2024 at the age of 86.
She was born on October 2nd, 1937 to John and Mary Miller in Raton, New Mexico. The eldest of 6 siblings, Patsy spent her childhood and early adolescence exploring the sun-baked expanse of Albuquerque. She attended Albuquerque High School and graduated in the class of 1955, and shortly after moved to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in Theology and Business.
Patsy married the love of her life, David Cratty on June 30th, 1962 in Van Nuys, California, where they resided and began building their family. The couple enjoyed a wonderful life raising their daughters, Virginia and Peggy, eventually settling down in the beautiful hills of eastern Oregon.
Having worked in many fields over the span of her life, Patsy thrived in customer service. She spent many years working in the kitchen at St. Anthony’s hospital in Pendleton as a cook, eventually retiring in 1996.
Patsy was known as a generous, caring, and kind woman. A born social butterfly, she was a part of many clubs like the Red Hat Society, The Eagles, and Side Saddlers in Pendleton.
Patsy is preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Mary Ruth and her husband David. She is survived by her two daughters, Virginia Youngberg and Peggy Cratty Daniels, four grandchildren, David, Damion, Ariel, and Allyson, and four great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Bethel Church in Patsy’s honor on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at 2 pm. Bethel Church Assembly of God: 1109 Airport Rd, Pendleton, OR 97801
