Upon graduation from Elgin High School, Rose and her family moved to Phoenix Arizona

November 17, 1961.
In October of 1970, the family of 5 moved to Pilot Rock Oregon where Bob worked at the mill
and Rose was a homemaker. Rose then gave 35 years to the Pilot Rock school district as a bus
driver and instructor. She attended Blue Mountain Community College and obtained her
bachelors degree with honors in Business Accounting at the age of 42.
She was a devout Christian and very active in her church. She knew no strangers and had the
personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation. Her stories, hugs and
laugh was infectious to everyone around her.
Rose loved her family. She fiercely fought for them, cared about them, nurtured them and raised
them. She would treat her friends like family.
Rose was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by all that loves her dearly. She
was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her friends and loved
ones. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in all
she knew.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
