Rosemary (Lyda) Johnson

Rosemary Johnson 84, of Pendleton died Thursday, February 16, 2023 in Portland, Oregon.  A viewing will be held from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on March 2, 2023 at Pendleton Pioneer Chapel, Folsom-Bishop.  Graveside service will be at 1:00p.m. on March 3, 2023 at Skyview Memorial Park.

Rosemary was born on January 21, 1939 in Nampa, Idaho to Rochelle James and Mary Evelyn (Fitzmorris) Lyda.  She attended school in Echo and Pendleton High School.  She finished her education at Blue Mountain Community College.

She married Dale Johnson on November 22, 1956.  This  union was blessed with a son and a daughter.  Rosemary was a homemaker but later on she drove school bus for Pendleton Bus Company.

Rosemary is survived by her husband Dale; son, Del Len (Brenda) Johnson of Pendleton; daughter, Rosemarie Robin (Kent) Altree of Milwaukie, Oregon; grandchildren, Tamby Moore, Gresham, Oregon, John Moore, Ketchikan, Alaska, and Durk Moore of Milwaukie, Oregon; great-grandchildren, Alex Harvey and Genesis Harvey both of Gresham, Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pound; Stepfather, Wallace Pound; father, Rochell Lyda and brothers James Lyda and Raymond Sallee. Also preceding her are numerous aunts and uncles.
