Tonya-Ariana Marie Morrison

Tonya was born in Baker County, Oregon and raised in Halfway, Oregon by Susan and Ivan McKim.

She graduated from high school early with a GED and earned an associate degree in early childhood education. After high school she moved to Texas, where she was proud to be a "black apron" coffee taster for Starbucks. She was obsessed with helping, teaching, and loving kids. Tonya worked in a couple preschools and became a nanny for several families over the years. Tonya loved her nanny kids dearly and was incredibly proud of the things they have accomplished. She parted from her nanny work when she had her own "Little Duck", Opal, and moved back to Oregon.

She met Brian Morrison in 2014 and they married in 2018. They share 2 children, Opal (17) and Paisley (10). She is survived by her husband and children, her sister Nora Aspy (Levi), brother Joshua McKim (Mallory), her parents, and grandmother Donna Moore.

Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Pendleton, Oregon. On November 10th, at 11:00am.
